Prior to his current role in the voluntary sector, Emanuel served as a Branch Manager at Bank of Valletta (BOV) Plc., a leading financial services provider in Malta as well as the Head of Secretariat of the Secretariat for Local Government under the Ministry of Justice, Culture and Local Government (MJCL). During his tenure at BOV, he successfully led business development efforts and built strong relationships with clients. Emanuel oversaw branch operations leading teams of up to 22 people, loan issuance and risk assessment, ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures. His adeptness at translating business strategies into actionable plans helped drive growth and profitability for the branches he managed. Emanuel’s exceptional managerial skills were also evident in his supervision of a 22-strong team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Emanuel holds a Commerce Studies (Economics & Accounts) qualification from St. Aloysius College Sixth Form in Malta. He is a well-organised and results-focused professional with excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Emanuel’s organisational abilities, combined with his drive for success, make him thrive in roles that require strategic analysis, project management, and marketing coordination.
